Titta Uoti-Väisänen has already achieved much in the luxury yacht industry and continues to strive for greater accomplishments. As a dynamic entrepreneur and a Finnish native, Titta is renowned for her extensive expertise in the superyacht field. She began her career in yachting in 1999, chartering a small sailing boat between Tallinn and Helsinki. Despite a modest start, it was the beginning of what would become an extraordinary journey. Moreover, Titta is not only a skilled sailor but also a chef and holds an MBA, providing her with a unique blend of culinary and business acumen that enhances her contributions to the superyacht industry. Titta’s philosophy revolves around authenticity, attention to detail, and an appreciation for the finer things in life, ensuring that every aspect of her business meets the highest standards. In 2000, Titta and her now-husband, yacht captain Mikko, left Finland to explore more tropical environments. They settled in the British Virgin Islands, spending four years sailing as a crew across the Caribbean Sea, first on a 55-foot and later a 66-foot boat. This period was not only about work but also an adventure of discovery and learning. The couple’s return to Finland in 2004 was brief; their adventurous spirits led them to relocate to Mallorca after only two years. Finally, they settled down in the South of France where they welcomed their daughter, Mathilda, in 2009.

Once settled in the Côte d’Azur, Titta combined her passions for yachting and fine cuisine, working as a chef for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals. This experience laid the groundwork for launching her own business, TUVYC, in 2012. As the founder of TUVYC Consultancy and Superyacht Foodie, Titta has become a visionary leader, bringing exceptional culinary experiences to the superyacht community and providing market-entry consultancy for over 10 years. Business Finland has also been part of the Superyacht Foodie journey. In collaboration with TUVYC, the “Food from Finland” program showcases selected Finnish companies to the superyacht community, emphasizing unique, high-quality, and healthy offerings suited to the tastes of yacht owners and their guests. Titta is passionate about supporting the success of smaller, less known brands in this niche market through strategic initiatives and events. By emphasizing the importance of natural and healthy ingredients, she has helped shape a more conscientious and interconnected food space for the superyacht community.

More recently Titta has launched Superyacht Cluster, a comprehensive 12-month program that equips companies wishing to enter the superyacht industry with necessary tools, knowledge, and connections. This initiative offers tailored guidance to refine business operations to suit the demanding needs of the superyacht industry, targeting both established firms and startups. Participants benefit from deep industry insights and strategies on navigating the superyacht market effectively, ensuring they meet the high standards needed to succeed in this lucrative field.
Outside of her professional life, Titta is a committed animal lover, having adopted several dogs over the years. The family currently has two rescue dogs that are cherished members of their home. Moreover, Titta’s influence extends beyond business. Her personal achievements truly stand out. She started her professional sports career at the age of 50 and won a silver medal in the French Championships in Longe-Côte. The Finnish “sisu” and determination perfectly describe her perseverance and dedication.
